Reinforced concrete is a material that supplements the weakness of reinforcing bar and concrete by adding reinforcing bar in concrete. Developed in the 19th century, this material enabled new architecture and urban environment design by modernists then. This ruler is designed, motivated by the material structure and architecture such reinforced concrete has.
The reinforcing bar in concrete was viewed as a small grid, which was filled with cement as if making building framework to compose the ruler. The grid in the ruler connects cement, and at the same time, it measures the length, designed by using 3D printer. It is composed of circular, square, rectangular, curved shape as a ruler, protractor and shaped ruler
